Patchwork........is a moment in time 2009.....in the history of overglaze painting & Kiln Fired Art. In a time where factories close & we lose our suppliers, it was time to show what we WERE doing in 2009. Painters were approached. I didn't even know most of them & for all those who said it wouldn't work????????? Well...we ended up with over 180 tiles. All 6 inches square, & ready to be formed into a Patchwork of what is happening RIGHT NOW!! Forward this to all painters you know. Have a look at this and be proud that you are part of a piece of history which will be recorded forever. We have ALL standards of work and all techniques/colours/styles/subjects and tastes. This is the most honest representation of what we are doing NOW you will get, and Jill Egan & I would like to thank everyone for taking part. It incorporates work from painters of a few weeks..........to a few decades. I would like personally to thank Jill Egan for getting on board & doing all the technology behind this, because without her it would not have been possible!
