Judi started painting 20 years ago when she happened to see some hand painted china and fell in love with the effect.  Judi joined a class and attended for four years on and off and then became serious and sat her City and Guilds in China Painting at Westfield House.

Judi followed this up by taking her Teacher Training Qualification and once qualified, Judi taught for 12 years in Adult Education at different venues.  Having started at her kitchen table, Judi progressed until now she has her own studio which she uses to paint for pleasure.

Judi became interested in Watercolour Botanical painting and she now uses her studio to further her knowledge in this field.

Judi and Richard are going to be spending more time with their grandchildren and Judi intends to continue the work she does as a Magistrate.

Judi has now retired from teaching, demonstrating and giving workshops, and so we were really delighted to have her agree to come to Centigrade˚ 2009 as her final performance, and all the students would like to thank her for donating all her work studies to them!
