James trained for Royal Worcester Porcelain for over 20 years, hand painting & gilding many of their finest porcelain & bone china pieces, gaining a world-wide reputation for his work.

Since leaving Royal Worcester, James has applied his skills to many differentforms of artistic media including painting with watercolours and acrylics. these along with his ceramics experience has enabled James to offer a wide variety of individual pieces for his clients at affordable prices.

James also has gained a growing reputation for teaching at seminars and workshops throughout the the United Kingdom, passing on his skills to less experienced artists.

James has recently appointed 'Artist in Residence' at the Worcester Porcelain Museum & can be seen demonstrating decorative techniques used from as far back as days of Dr Wall & Flight & Barr.
