Garry Jones is one of the nicest men you could ever meet, and his ceramic world is full of humour and fun.  Garry brings a whole new meaning to familiar phrases and a smile to your face when you meet his menagerie of clay creatures.

Garry’s sculptures are very individual and reflect his fantastic imagination yet are also great examples of his skill as a designer and ceramic artist.

Garry loves animals and they are a continuous source of amusement and inspiration.  Garry comes originally from Wales, but has lived in the Midlands since 1969, and his work is very much linked to his childhood memories of the Welsh countryside and culture.

Garry will tell you his aim is to create humorous, three dimensional cartoon images of animals and give them all human characteristics, using word play and common phrases, recalling the old silent movies where moments in time and emotions were captured by expression alone.

Garry will be returning to join us at Centigrade˚…..by Design on 26th  September 2010 when he will be holding mini workshops live at the show, so get there early and book your place with him!
