I have been teaching Bob Ross Workshops as a Certified Instructor for over 15 years.     
The most important thing about painting is “enjoyment” and this is what I encourage on my workshops. If you relax, it shows in your painting.   I have taught many hundreds of classes, from large venues to art and craft shops together with many local art groups. Over the years I have introduced many thousands of people of all ages to this exciting painting technique.

At Centigrade˚ in September 2009, Christine asked me to help her with The Poppy Challenge.  The idea was to take 3 respected artists who had their background in over glaze work on China and Porcelain and have them complete a one hour workshop live in front of the audience.  The one thing Jackie Halhead, Jill Egan and Lina Al-Taji had in common was that they had never used oil paint before, so to attempt this in an hour was a real challenge for these ladies.
As you can see they all made a fantastic job of their first attempt, so I hope it won’t be the last time they paint with oils!
