Centigrade Kiln Fired Art Show 2009


Centigrade - Kiln Fired Art is an annual show, and it features and promotes any and all forms of Kiln Fired Art. The second show turned out to be jinxed from the start, as the original venue went into administration. The fact that carrying on was possible is down to some very special people, some of whom I have never met – nor ever will probably! Within 24 hours Marci Blattenberger and her internet army started an auction to raise money to help Some of the demonstrators contacted me privately and offered to waive their fee and I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for the effort, support and loyalty you all showed me – I will never forget it. The show must go on! The first show cemented the idea that as many artists use more than one specialty already, a show featuring all Kiln Fired Art techniques enables all artists to work together, and help and teach other. Fusion………of techniques, artists and ideas. Please note that most of the images on this site were taken live in situ at Centigrade˚, and are not studio quality.
